What a cruel thing is war: to separate and destroy families and
friends, and mar the purest joys and happiness God has granted us
in this world; to fill our hearts with hatred instead of love for
our neighbors, and to devastate the fair face of this beautiful world.

My question is: How is it that, ahead of his appearance at the Enquiry in half an hour's time, the questions the panel will put to Blair AND HIS ANSWERS are already known?
My answer is: Because it would seem that the agenda of the Chilcot Enquiry to remove any possibility of those involved in making that dreadful decision of standing trial for genocide.

Whilst everyone up here was proundly wearing their red poppy Cally and I wore white poppies which attracted some supportive comments in Tescos etc. We also placed a white poppy plaque at the Forres war memorial (well after the ceremonial stuff was over)

Hello Lana
Thanks for your kind enquiry. I have done a little background research and have come across your statement "as I am a single parent and one in the army, I am sometimes called without warning". I'm afraid that I would be compromising my ethical stance on people who chose a career involving the killing of others if I were to accept your commission.
Regards
Harley.

Mam,
Thank you very much for your reply Harley. Not only have I never killed anybody, I do believe that as a Christian it is my duty to protect other Christian against evil Muslims that kill even their own kind to dominate the world. The crusades were the beginning and the bible did state that the uprising will begin once again in the Middle East. It is a sad state when British Citizens choose to treat people whom defend Gods Will and their nation with such disgust.
Hopefully someday you will realise the error in your views.

Your statement, as a serving soldier, confirms my very worst suspicions of the agenda of the British Armed Forces and deserves spreading widely through the media, which I shall delight in doing within the next 24hours unless you care to consider the implications and wish to retract or revise them.

Ma'am
I am a nurse and I fix all injured people so i am a non-combattian, in fact I believe we are their to help the good people whom are not extremist muslims who help the woman, children and men that are under dictatorship from the Taliban. You have to be their to understand it.
Do what you like Ma'am, it is you who are the people who desgrace the dead soldiers, each one to his own opinion, but I believe we are helping and so does some of my friend whom are Muslims. Threaten me as much as you like, I am out of the army in 3 months to do civilian charity work in Africa as a nurse so I really cant be bothered with your trying to lobbying your political views on me and might I add the British soldiers follow something called the Law of Armed Conflict which means we do not shoot until attacked -selfdefence. Myself and a lot of soldiers dont want to see any of the people hurt and we feel for every innocent whom gets injured though callous attacks by the Taliban.
The agenda of the British Armed Forces is to serve and to protect not to kill - PEACE KEEPING MADAM. More than we can say about the taliban.
A simple no for the drawing would have done without the attack.
I hope this explains my point of view better as I was a little bit angered by the wild accusation of me being a 'killer', I always do unto others as I want done onto myself and I believe the Muslims we defend as well as our Country and our Christian values (especially mine) makes me a better person.
I do however think you are a fantastic artist and I will not reply to any further emails by yourself.

Hello Lana
I was very pleased to have your response and learn of your personal agenda for life. If we can learn to respect each other and celebrate each other's personal achievements then perhaps together we are making a small personal contribution to the ending of the agressive social and religious thought forms which can invariably lead to armed group conflict.
I am delighted to learn that you are leaving the army in 3 months to do civilian charity work in Africa as a nurse. Well done! and I sincerely wish you a happy and fulfilling life there.
Thank you for your generous comments regarding my artwork. I am male by the way although appreciate my name might not clearly indicate that. Is you nice-sounding Lana a South African name?
Kind regards
Harley

Sir
Many thanks and my apologies I did not mean to offend you, I meant that I believe the world is so wicked that the end must be near as the Bible says. I just very inadequate in putting my words to writing. I have emence respect for you as you stand your ground and you are so correct in my name my father named me that after the Battle of Lana. And sorry for the wrong labeling of your name it is so lovely.
Thank you very much for the good wishes and I hope to help lots of people and make the world a better place so all people can live in harmony.
Kind Regards
Lana
PS: I abosulutely adore Scotland and will aim to live in the Highlands on my retirement after my 3 year charity work for the Lord. Just checked my emails and I have a bit of 'hatemail', will it please be possible to remove my inadequate writing skill essay to yourself?

Hi Lana
Yes I agree, let's "make the world a better place so all people can live in harmony" - I say a really big AMEN to that!
Don't worry too much about the end of the world because you and I are showing what can be done to make it better - how did we do it? We connected heart to heart rather than head to head! Sorry to hear about the hate mail - that's not nice and I've removed your address from my web blog page any reference to our exchanges as you requested.
Lana - you are named after a battle and I'm named after a street in London which for me equals"conflict and healing" Perhaps we would make a good team.
My thoughts are with you as are my good wishes.

Dont worry, think I deserved it for being so hot headed.
Do you drink wine? My sis works for Origin Wine and they make Fairhills and Stormhoek. I get loads free - so would like to send you some. Red, white or rose?
You are a superstar.

That's a really sweet generous thought Lana, thank you and do please bring a bottle (or two) with you if ever you visit. How would you respond to the idea that we each light a candle, say tomorrow morning, to symbolise the potential for peaceful reconciliation between all people and nations?

Cally and I whole heartedly support the release of Abdelbaset al-Megrahi and are proud of Kenny MacAskill, the Scottish Justice Minister. We applaud the SNP for standing up against the dictates of the USA. For far too long smaller nations have been too afraid of the consequences should they defy the dictates of that world pariah.
Hopefully this action by our government will encourage other nations to ignore that world dominating bully and bring the higher aspects of human nature into their decision making.

Dear Group Captain Noel
National news yesterday included an item headed: "British soldiers serving abroad are protected by Human Rights laws, the Court of Appeal ruled today" Last April, High Court judge Andrew Collins ruled that sending British troops on patrol or into battle with defective equipment could be a breach of human rights.
The immediate response in this household was "So what about the human rights for the hundreds of thousands of innocent people routinely slaughtered and maimed by our soldiers, sailors and airmen?"
RAF Kinloss is the nearest military base to our home at Dunphail and, as a representative of British Armed Forces, we feel it only right that you should be aware of our feelings.
The British Armed Forces claim they are protecting the
We are aware that every one who is a member of the British Armed Forces has freely chosen to enlist and serve as either a hands-on killer or be an accomplice in providing background support. Killing people is the most evil of aspect of human nature and anyone who supports and encourages this aberration of Humanity deserves no respect let alone rights. Unfortunately people like us who have learned to how not to impose their will upon others, how to accept differences and how resolve any conflict peacefully, are forced to live alongside those who have not.
Living within the proximity of a military base we are daily reminded of the power of the B.A.F. Your killing machines fly low over this lovely
I repeat, anyone who supports and encourages this aberration of Humanity deserves no human rights.
